Stanislaw began taking photos at the age of ten years old at the time his father had set up a darkroom in their small bathroom in Warsaw. When he finished high school, photography was such a passion that Stanislaw thought he would make this his profession. He then moved to London to study fine art at the prestigious Central Saint Martins. After his studies in London and stops back in Warsaw and then Tokyo, Stanislaw settled in New York City. Stanislaw’s images are raw, genuine, thoughtful with a 'youthful lightness of being' that can be at times spontaneous, absurd, funny and contemplative. Stanislaw has shot for Vogue Poland, Vogue Italia, i-D, The Last Magazine, Heroine, Hearts Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, and Opening Ceremony to name a few.
